  • Meal planning
  • Food nutrition fact labels
  • Grocery shopping tips
  • Meals away from home

Our Meal Planning class includes information about:

  • Menu planning as a part of a lifestyle of successful diabetes management
  • Review food groups, standard portion sizes and types of carbohydrates
  • Practice planning a one-week meal plan using your personal nutrition goals

Diabetes Support Group

PacMed holds free monthly diabetes support groups at our Canyon Park clinic in Bothell and at our Renton clinic. During this meeting, you will learn how others have improved their diabetes control, and you will receive the latest information from our diabetes educators. Click here to learn more.

These classes are open to anyone with diabetes and their family, friends or coworkers.

Please verify with your health insurance company that these classes are a covered service. Otherwise, you will be considered self-pay. The cost of each class is $140. If this is a non-covered service and you would like to pay in full on the day of the class, you will receive a 30% discount, making the cost $98. PacMed accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
