With US Family Health Plan (USFHP), you get top-quality civilian medical care that’s sponsored by the Department of Defense. USFHP is offered by Pacific Medical Centers and is another TRICARE prime medical option.

USFHP is FREE for active-duty family members and for retired military professionals with Medicare Part B. For retired military professionals not yet eligible for Medicare Part B, the cost per year is only $230 for individuals or $460 for families.
As a USFHP member, you’ll get great benefits, including fully covered preventive care such as annual physicals and annual eye exams by board-certified physicians. Board-certified physicians have had years of extra training and have passed rigorous medical specialty examinations. All of USFHP’s providers, including our specialty care physicians, are board-certified. You’ll also have access to disease management programs proven to produce the best possible outcomes.
Plus, you’ll receive discounts on health services not covered by TRICARE or Medicare, such as naturopathic care, massage therapy, fitness club memberships and more.
