Pacific Medical Centers
Alexander Park, M.D., is the Medical Director of US Family Health Plan at PacMed. He oversees the growing USFHP network of doctors and clinics as it strives to reach more military families in the Puget Sound region, all while maintaining the value and responsive service the plan is known for.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Park began his practice at PacMed in 2012. In 2018, he joined USFHP as Associate Medical Director for Care Management and Utilization. Always a strong proponent of the power of primary care, Dr. Park has focused on helping USFHP’s nurse and social worker teams to provide comprehensive outpatient case management to health plan members. The team has reduced and prevented unnecessary hospitalizations and Emergency Department visits.
In the area of utilization management, Dr. Park has worked to ensure that USFHP members receive the most appropriate, integrated and effective treatment across the network through our referral management program. He looks forward to expanding his existing role across other areas of the health plan and working closely with network partners.
Dr. Park received his BA degree from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his advanced medical training from the University of Washington. In 2008, he completed a NASPGHAN/CDHNF Research Fellowship and Vernon M. Lippard Research Fellowship.
Dr. Park enjoys classical music, healthy cooking, landscape photography, exercise and spending quality time with his family and friends.
