Benjamin Lacey, M.D., is Chief of Medical Specialties for Pacific Medical Centers. In this role, he oversees the clinical care of our medical specialty clinics. Dr. Lacey is also board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and sees patients at three PacMed clinics: Beacon Hill, Canyon Park and Renton.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Lacey has served in other leadership roles, including Medical Director of Physical Therapy and Assistant Chief of Medical Specialties. He joined PacMed in 2009 and began building his Physiatry practice.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He then moved to the Northwest, completing an Internal Medicine internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a member of the PacMed Board Finance Committee.
Dr. Lacey enjoys being a parent and outdoor activities with friends and family, with a plan to get out on the water more this year! He is active in his church and volunteers as an assistant coach for a local Little League Softball Team. Sorry Huskies: he is an Iowa Hawkeyes sports fan.
